Well did you put your Valentine décor away and pull out

 St. Patrick's Day?

 

I did!

 

 I don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day goodies.

I let my little March angel shine on the table in my entryway.

 

This little green guy is so cute in the polka dot pot, found him at the Goodwill.

 

 

 

Poked a little luck here and there.

 

 

 

 Redheads have more fun. LOL

 

I wanted to share this handmade card I received last week.

 It is so special and so meaningful to receive a handwritten thank you note or just a note to say hello. In this fast paced world of instant messaging and hurried deadlines, it is so warm and touching to know that a special friend whom I hold close to my heart, thought enough of me to return the sentiment.

Swap Blessings

 

I joined Viv's Valentine swap and I was matched up with sweet Patti from PaintinPatti's blog.

She is a beautiful soul and I was so happy to be paired up with her. What a blessing it was for me to put together her swap goodies, but I was blessed beyond belief to receive my goodies from her.

 

 

 

She packed a LOT OF LOVE into this box

Ok the "Debbie" heart absolutely made me scream (well maybe more like squeal) with excitement. How adorable is that?

This adorable felt envelope is one of my favorite goodies and when I opened it, I was delighted all the more..............

 

 

 

She placed an adorable friendship book inside along with copies of Valentines that she received a as a little girl. I love sentimental things like that.

 

 

This vintage gal under this handmade cloche is sooooooo me!!!

 

It's amazing how Patti knew exactly what I like, we are indeed blog buddies and sisters in Christ.

 

She made the large Valentine in the middle of this picture and just kept filling the box with love, I am indeed blessed by her generosity.

This little garland kit just tickled me pink!

 



 

It looks right at home on my mirror in the dining room.

 

 

 

Blog buddies really are heaven sent and I am so happy I have a new friend in Patti!

Since we recently painted  our living room and dining room, ALL of my pretty pretties were taken down, so I decided it is a good time to fill my little shelves with my beloved Valentine décor.

 

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

 

I tucked some vintage Valentines in this planter vase I found at the Thrift Shop. Don't you love his adorable blue eyes?

These 2 love birds adorn the top shelf........yes another thrift shop find !

 
 

 

 

Now onto my little hutch in the dining room.......just arranged a few things here and there

 

The buffet in my dining room is by far my favorite piece of furniture. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to display all the things that make me smile.

Blog Friends Are Blessings

 

 

 I made it home from my trip to Austin, boy was it nice to see my cousin and catch up on life. The weather was beautiful and the class I took was helpful. I missed my husband and our son so much though, I realize that I really am a home-body.

 

Well to make my homecoming super sweet, there was a package waiting for me on the porch!

My friend Deb Garage Sale Gal poured some Valentine love into a box and mailed it to me.

 

 

 

Deb and I have never met in person but she is a sister in Christ to me and I feel like we know each other better than some friends I have had for years.

She makes cards and I tell ya, she is so talented. I used to be in a card (making) club but could never come close to the cuteness that she creates !

She packed that box with Valentine love that made me smile a mile wide.

It doesn't get any cuter than an embroidered flour sack towel.........don't ya think?

 

That ADORABLE little cherub painting some "Love" is so sweet, its vintage Avon and I love it !!!!



Blessings come in very special ways on unexpected days and I am so grateful for friends like Deb who touch my heart from across the miles and fill my life with bright, warm smiles.
