My Karate Kid

It was an early morning for us on Saturday. My son competed in his first Karate tournament. We got up early to get down to Cal State Northridge. It rained all day in the Valley.

He was so nervous but did exceptionally well on his forms. He took 2nd  place.

He is so proud of himself

And so am I

My daughter was so happy to come spend the day with us and I was delighted to see her.

I took the day off tomorrow because my son is on Easter break and I want to spend some "home time" with him.We are going to spend the day getting the dining table ready for Easter dinner and tidy up the house.

I love to play around with all the ideas whirling around in my head and setting a festive table is one of my favorite things to play with.
