Sure have been "too busy to blog" in the past couple of days, what with keeping up on housework, my sons baseball games (during the week) and general overall "catching up" on paperwork, checkbook balancing and regular everyday duties, I found a little time this weekend to transform that little cherub lamp I scored at the Goodwill last week. I usually try to pick out small projects when my time has been limited. I started out painting it off-white and antiquing it with a paint color called "nutmeg". I really didn't like the way it turned out....Sometimes you have to just "Do it over" and that is exactly what I did. I got the spray paint out and toned down some of the antique finish I had put on this little guy and now I like it much better. See if you agree.....
Onto the next project which is painting my sunroom. I don't like the light green I have on the walls now and want to go darker. I found a lovely "cottage green" shade and purchased a quart to try it out. I will share more later.....
Til Next Time.....Debbie

Oh yes, I love the "do over"- looks a lot better. It looked good the first time, but even better the second time! I love it! Nice work!
