Do you have a favorite place in your home that is just your little nook of the world? A place you can either wrap up in a nice throw with a cup of tea and a decorating magazine (of course) and just spend some "me" time?
I enjoy writing. Not books or stories but old-fashioned, handwritten letters and cards to my friends. With email and cell phones and text messaging, it's so easy to become so disconnected to times past when one would sit down and pen a letter to her best girlfriend and share all the happenings in her life. I feel that I connect better with my dear friends when I take the time to hand write a letter on pretty stationery or a handmade card. I think my friends appreciate it too.
And this is where I most enjoy Daydreaming. My very comfortable "cottage green" Secretary Desk that I purchased (for a steal) from a yard sale. I love to sit at it and write to my hearts content. I used to use it to pay bills at but decided it was just too sweet and too pretty to put my "stressful bill pile" near so I reserve that grueling task for my computer desk.
I love to share my home and my world with my friends who visit my blog. Thank you ALL for your kind comments and I am humbled by your compliments. I appreciate them one and all.
Now I must get back to my letter, the postman will be here soon....
